How to embed a calculator on your website

Put a free, live calculator on any website in about five minutes. Copy one line of HTML, paste it where you want it, and it runs — no plugin, no API keys, no account.

In five minutes

1

Pick a tool

Choose a calculator or estimator that fits your website — a project quote tool, a rate estimator, a loan EMI calculator.

2

Copy the code

On any tool page, open the embed section and copy the one-line iframe snippet.

3

Paste it

Drop the snippet into any page that accepts HTML — WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or plain HTML. No JavaScript, no API keys, no setup.

Make it fit your site

Theme

Leave it on Auto and the embed follows your visitor's system theme. Pin a fixed look with ?theme=light or ?theme=dark on the embed URL — or set it from your own theme toggle.

Size

Set the iframe's width and height. The snippet defaults to width="100%" height="600"; the calculator inside is responsive and reflows to fill whatever you give it.

Corners

The snippet ships border:0;border-radius:12px. Raise or lower the radius to match your site, or set it to 0 for square corners.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers before you start.

Is it free to embed a Plainso tool?

Yes. Every tool is free to use and free to embed, with a small “Powered by Plainso” link. There are no accounts, no API keys, and no usage limits.

Do I need a plugin, or to code anything?

No. The embed is a single iframe snippet — one line of HTML you paste in. There is no plugin to install, nothing to configure, and no JavaScript to add.

Where can I put the embed?

Anywhere that accepts HTML: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Ghost, or a hand-coded page. Each platform has its own step-by-step guide below.

Can I change the theme or size?

Yes. Append ?theme=light or ?theme=dark to the embed URL to pin the theme, and set the iframe's width and height to size it. Colour and font follow the embed's own theme rather than per-pixel overrides, so it always stays legible.
