How to add a calculator to Wix

Wix has a dedicated element for pasted HTML: Embed HTML. Drop it where you want the calculator, paste the iframe, and resize it to fit. There's no app to add from the Wix App Market.

Step by step

1

Copy the calculator's embed code

Choose the tool you want on your Wix site and copy the one-line iframe snippet from its embed section.

2

Add the Embed HTML element

In the Wix Editor, click Add Elements → Embed Code → Embed HTML, then drag it onto the page.

3

Paste the code

Click Enter Code, paste the iframe snippet into the HTML box, and click Apply.

4

Resize and publish

Drag the element's handles to size it so the calculator fits, then click Publish.

Good tools to embed on Wix

Good to know

  • Choose Embed HTML, not Embed a Widget — the widget option expects a URL, while Embed HTML takes the full snippet.
  • Give the element enough height (around 600px) or the calculator's lower controls get clipped.
  • The same element works in Wix Studio — it's under Embed Code in the Add panel.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers before you start.

Do I need a Wix app for a calculator?

No. The Embed HTML element is built into Wix and accepts the iframe snippet directly, so you can skip the App Market entirely.

What's the difference between Embed HTML and Embed a Widget?

Embed a Widget imports an external page by URL or code. Embed HTML lets you paste raw HTML — which is what the Plainso snippet is — so use Embed HTML.

Why is part of my calculator hidden in Wix?

The Embed element is a fixed-size box, so if it's shorter than the calculator, the bottom gets clipped. Drag its bottom handle down to give it more height.
