Frequently asked questions
Quick answers before you start.
How is exact age calculated?
Your age counts full years since birth, then the remaining months and days. The calculator compares your date of birth to today's date and breaks the difference into years, months, and days.
Is my age calculated on my birthday?
Yes — your age in years increases exactly on your birthday. Before your birthday this year, the calculator still shows your age as of your last birthday, with the months and days since then.
Why would I need my exact age in days?
Some legal, visa, and insurance forms ask for age in completed days, and it's a useful way to visualise time — 10,000 days is roughly 27 years. The calculator shows total days alongside years, months, and days.
